Along with our Movers & Warehousemen's Program, Goettelmann may also be able to offer you a comprehensive Trip Transit Program, which allows your customers to obtain Replacement Cost Insurance for moves anywhere within the continental United States, Alaska and Canada.  Coverage includes up to 90 days storage-in-transit in your warehouse, and can be extended for longer periods.

By providing your shippers with this optional coverage, both you and your shipper can be sure that their belongings are insured for their full value, while at the same time, freeing your staff of the time, paperwork and attention involved in issuing and processing insurance and claims.

Trip Transit insurance requests are submitted by your shippers to our office, where insurance is issued and payment collected.  Our Trip Transit program is underwritten by an A+ rated insurance company.

All Trip Transit claims are submitted directly to Goettelmann, where our in-house claims adjuster handles all processing and assignment of repairmen and claim settlements.

To find out if you qualify for this program, please complete our Online Questionnaire and submit it to our office.  A company representative will contact you to discuss the program and any special needs you may have.

Eligibility for this program is based on your current Cargo loss experience as well as your
underlying Cargo carrier.  You may be responsible for subrogation up to your legal liability.

Please visit our International Trip Transit section to find out about coverage for your shippers moving outside the boundaries of the continental United States, Alaska or Canada.
